SROP Student: Josh Frenchwood
Undergraduate researcher Josh Frenchwood from University of Houston completed a two-month tenure with RF Microsystems Group. Josh joined the team as a part of Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) sponsored by the OSU Graduate School and Big Ten Alliance.
Josh's project centered around designing a millimeter-wave testing platform for antenna measurement. Josh said "During my time at the Electroscience Laboratory I designed a robotic system for millimeter wave antenna measurements. I learned of basic antenna theory and robotic systems. This project has truly taught me how to analyze problems and come up with efficient solutions. Although this was primarily my own project, I received great advice and guidance from Professor Nima Ghalichechian and his graduate students. Overall, this was a valuable research experience that taught me the process of performing research".
We would like to thank Josh for his contributions and wish him the best.
